I was rather surprised by the way the X-E1 handled this image. With the large area of dark water I expected the seagulls to simply blow out. Not a chance, the camera exposed this correctly too. Just to be on the safe side, I did bracket this photograph to see what the correct exposure should be. This image is the one that the camera seleted as a correct exposure.
