Another image from this little camera. I really have a love hate relationship with it. Sometimes it gets the image totally wrong in processing and at other times, like this one, it's simply amazing. I normally use aperture mode with all my cameras 99% of the time. I was using the tilt and swivel screen here with the camera stabalized on a table in front of me. These screens do come in useful at times like these but I must admit I don't use it as often as I should.

EX1 Focal Length: 0 mm Aperture: f/5.0 Exposure Time: 1/350 sec ISO: 80 03/02/12 Samsung NX10Another image using the NX10 with the NX 55-200 lens. I must admit I haven't used this camera much, not because it's a bad camera, but because there are better cameras out there. I mean better in the sense it's much more fun using them than the NX10. I believe Samsung are now in the process of developing a new camera with a better sensor. 1614
NX10 Focal Length: 55 mm Aperture: f/5.6 Exposure Time: 1/320 sec ISO: 200 03/01/12 Samsung NX10I don't think I've loaded many images from this camera in the past, maybe one or two but it can't be much more than that. It is not a bad camera but it isn't a camera that makes you go wow either. Focusing isn't really that fast, but not slow either. Seems accurate though and the images are not bad at all. This image was takem with the NX 55-200 lens. Not really expensive, a little large for my liking, but it does produce some ok images. 2541
NX10 Focal Length: 55 mm Aperture: f/8.0 Exposure Time: 1/100 sec ISO: 200 02/21/12 Samsung NX10 and the 30 f2 PancakeThe last image from this camera and lens for now. I thought it would be a change from the m4/3 scene and see how other cameras do. I like the bokeh in this one and the 30 f2 hit the mark with the focusing. The camera helped some too. Like I said, not the fastest focusing camera, but it nails the focusing nearly 100% of the time. 1785
NX10 Focal Length: 30 mm Aperture: f/2.8 Exposure Time: 1/100 sec ISO: 200 02/20/12 Samsung NX10 and the 30 f2 PancakeAnother image from this combination. Sharp and contrasty. This is how I like my images. 1463
NX10 Focal Length: 30 mm Aperture: f/2.8 Exposure Time: 1/125 sec ISO: 200 02/19/12 Samsung NX10 and the 30 f2 PancakeAnother APS-C sensor camera is the Samsung NX10. Not the fastest focusing or the fastest to download the images to the card, but I do like the images it takes with the 30 f2 pancake lens. The rendition is really nice as can be seen on the horses coat. 1947
NX10 Focal Length: 30 mm Aperture: f/2.8 Exposure Time: 1/1250 sec ISO: 200 02/18/12 How good can the E-PL1 be?Just to show how good the E-PL1 and the Panasonic 14-140 lens can be, I only had a couple of seconds to take this image of a Hummingbird Moth. For those of you have seen them, you know how quick they can be. They only stop for a couple of seconds at each bloom. Some say that focusing on the E-PL1 is slow, but after I took this picture I'm wondering what slow is. It's plenty fast for me.
Don't forget, this lens is pretty heavy compared to other m4/3 lenses and is made for video. There's a lot of glass in there to move when focusing. 1715
E-PL1 Focal Length: 140 mm Aperture: f/8.0 Exposure Time: 1/500 sec ISO: 200 02/17/12 Olympus E-PL1 and the 14-42 kit lens revisitedThis is another of my favourites. That light in the upper left is a lighthouse. It must have taken me at least 50 shots to get this one. I was either too early or too late as the light was rotating. Still, I got it in the end. 1502
E-PL1 Focal Length: 42 mm Aperture: f/5.6 Exposure Time: 1/30 sec ISO: 200 02/16/12 Olympus E-PL1 and the 14-42 kit lens revisitedThis is one of my favourites with this lens. But who would have thought that this lens could take an image like this is such low light. Well, I thought it could. Again, it may be that I have a very good copy of this lens. This also speaks volumes about the Olympus IBIS. A lot seem to think that ILIS is much better and it may well be, but IBIS gets me these shots too. 1560
E-PL1 Focal Length: 29 mm Aperture: f/8.0 Exposure Time: 1/45 sec ISO: 200 02/15/12 Olympus E-PL1 and the 14-42 kit lens revisitedThis second image has a slightly different angle of view to it and has been processed differently. But only slightly. White balance is cooler and I brought the buoy into the foreground. 1749
