An excellent function of these mirrorless cameras is that when looking through the EVF you see exactly how the image will turn out. Live view. This image is a perfect example of what I mean. The sun was shining on this dead fern, causing high contrast and the DR was outside the scope of what the camera can achieve. So, you have to decide how you want the image to look. Here I wanted the fern to be highlighted with no burnt out highlights. I dialled in a lot of negative EV to achieve this but I could still control how much I wanted because of the image I was seeing through the EVF. I just let the background go black and the fern was looking exactly the way I wanted.

Coming back to manual focus legacy lenses is really fun. This was about the first one I bought on a whim on ebay for a pittance and it's one of the better manual focus lenses on my shelf. It's actually the lens that got me into these legacy lenses and showed me the potential they have on modern cameras. I'm not saying that they're better than the newer lenses and the fancy coatings they have but it is fun using them and it has put something back into my photography thas was missing for some time.
It actually slows you down too and makes you think about your composition. Care is needed when focusing on m4/3 cameras as the peeking fuction implemented on the NEX cameras is sorely missing.

This really is the lens to get for m4/3 format. I've heard a lot about it but really didn't think I needed it until I was shooting a dancing show in low light. That was it, I caved in and got it. Really sharp and works well on the OM-D. Just a couple of shots with this lens right now but I promise there will be more on this lens.
