Aurora Borealis, or commonly known as the Northern Lights. We used to get called over the intercom at 2 or 3 in the morning telling us when the Northern Light were present. I'm not certain how many people have actually seen the lights but more often than not you don't see the lights with this intensity. We could tell that there was something different in parts of the sky but the intensity was missing. It looked different on the LCD however. People looking at these photographs swore they didn't see what I had captured. I suppose the camera can capture light from a different light spectrum to the human eye. I'm pleased with some of these photographs because I'm not certain if I'll ever see them again. Great experience.
