I mentioned in a post a few days ago that I would post some images from this little amazing camera, the Panasonic GM1 coupled with the minute 12-32 f3.5-5.6 lens. Well, here they are and there are quite a few of them. These will probably be the last images I will be posting from this camera because as soon as I can get my hands on a GM5 the GM1 will be retired from service. Like I've mentioned in numerous posts I need an EVF. For me it's like driving a car without a steering wheel. I'm really looking forward to the GM5 even though the EVF is not the best on the market. I'm sure it will do for me personally.
The lens is just amazing for it's size. It's a collapsible lens which will bother some but I find it ok. I can live with that. It's sharp and contrasty and best of all very small. I own the Panasonic 35-100 f2.8 and it works very well on the normal Panasonic bodies and I find it simply superb on the Olympus E-M1. panasonic have release a nw 35-100 but it's a variable aperture zoom at a price point of some €350. For me, excellent as I tend to shoot in good light. It is small and made for the new GM5 system. Guess what, I think it'll definately fit my needs on the new GM5.
