Thinking that the Panasonic PZ 14-42 f3.5-5.6 can't be as mediocre as I think it is, I mounted the lens on the Olympus OM-D E-M5 and took the system for an outing on the river Rhein in Germany. I read that someone had used this system and thought the image output was great and the lens was stuck to his E-M5. I'll be posting some images over the next few days from this combination and I'll let you decide what the image quality is like.
My personal thoughts on this combination? Dare I say it but I believe the lens performs much better on the Olympus body than on the Panasonic bodies. Why and how that can be is beyond me but I'm just basing my conclusion on the image output I'm getting.
Judge for youselves over the next few days.
