I'd heard so much about this lens, small sharp and basically just great. Well, I'm not overly impressed with it right now. I got it off ebay which might be why the person sold it but I did notice there was a filter attached. Looking at the LCD after taking the shots, they looked fine but, on downloading them I noticed a ditinct lack of contrast in nearly all of the images. Bokeh didn't look too good either. I'll post some five images here in the following days so you can hudge for youselves. I think I'll take it out for another run before I committ myself to a final vedrict.

And, I've bought that very expesive hood for it and I'll take off the filter. These filters are the main cause for a lack of contrast.
