I have to admit this lens is simply magic!

E-M10 Focal Length: 75 mm Aperture: f/1.8 Exposure Time: 1/250 sec ISO: 200 04/15/15 Olympus E-M10 - Olympus m Zuiko 75 f1.8The longer focal length allows for shallow depth of field. Some photographers just hate this but I kind of like it in certain images. landscapers naturally want the opposite effect, they want more of the image in focus which is why they tend to use a different kind of lens completely. 1117

E-M10 Focal Length: 75 mm Aperture: f/1.8 Exposure Time: 1/200 sec ISO: 200 04/13/15 Olympus E-M10 - Olympus m Zuiko 75 f1.8I haven't posted many images from this lens (or this camera as a matter of fact). Reason being I haven't been in a position to use all that much in the last few months. Life seems to have cought up with me putting a strain on my time. However, having seen the images I get on my lowly E-M10 I just might spring for the new E-M5 II with its 40MP sensor (trick). I must admit at first I thought this a gimmick but it seems to be a very useful function for static photography; landscapes or archtecture for instance which are my favourite types of photography.
This lens must be one of the sharpest lenses I have ever had the pleasure to use. I'll be using this lens at a wedding towards the end of May and again in June. I'll most certainly be using it on the E-M1. Lets see what it delivers and I'll be posting some images from that combination when the time comes. Some feel the focal length is a bit long but since I prefer shooting withlong lenses (especially 135mm lenses) there's not a lot of difference. 1124

ILCE-7S Focal Length: unknown Aperture: f/1.0 Exposure Time: 1/100 sec ISO: 200 04/11/15 Sony Alpha A7s - Voigtlaender Skopar 35 f2.5By modern standards, these Voigtlaender lenses can't be classed as expensive especially the Skopars. These can be had for a few hundred $/€ depending on where you live. Presently I own the 35 and 50 f2.5 lenses and both perform well. As I've stated before I don't use either on the A7 / A7r comeras but they fee quite at home on the A7s and perform best on APS-C or M43 sensors.
What attracts me to these lenses? Well it's just their signature and is not restricted to the Skopar series. I like using all of the Voigtlaender lenses and I do own quite a few of them. If you haven't tried one of these lenses before, why not just rent one for a few days if you can, you'll be pleasently surprised I'm sure. 1408
