The 18-55 kit lens was stuck on the Nex-5N for the first half of the voyage. I swapped it over to the Nex-7 for the second half as I wanted some wide angle shots that weren't spoilt by colour problems. The Nex-5N doesn't show this problem. I'm still impressed by the kit lens however and will not be getting rid of it, especially as the lens selection for the Nex cameras isn't all that great right now.
The scene above is typical for Norway this far north. The towns seem to be strung out along the cliff face, just hanging on to a bit of land between the sea and the mountains. Really amazes me how people can live up there, but then I don't suppose they know any different. They're used to it.
