What an amazing lens. Looks battered to hell but I thought I'd test it anyway. Very easy to focus the Olympus E-PL1 or E-P2. Images are sharp clear with great contrast. Better the the Voigtlaender 50 f1.5 lens which cost a lot more. The Voigtlaender is lacking in contrast and not as sharp as the Yashica.
On a m4/3 camera this lens gives a field of view equal to a 110mm on FF format. I think I need to lookinto something around 28mm which will give me 56mm on FF. Nothing too wide though, as my shooting tends to be at the tele end of all my lenses.
