It's a solid performer at all focal lengths and at all apertures. I decided to test it on the E-M1 using the MM3 adapter and was quite surprised to see it performed very well. Focusing isn't slow at all and will suffice for most people using the m4/3 system. 1126

02/03/15 Olympus OM-D E-M1 - Olympus M. 75-300 f4.8-6.7This is the first time I've used this lens for some time because of the type of photography I've been doing lately. Normally I'm a long lens shooter but my projects of late have kept me in the short to middle focal lengths.
I also have the Panasonic 100-300 lens and to be honest there isn't a lot between them. My 75-300 is the original version but Olympus have brought out a second version of the lens and that might be a little better optically but I haven't been able to test the lenses side-by-side. My preference is for using the Olympus because I just like the feel of it and it's a little shorter than the Panasonic.
I'm not going to be posting a lot of images from this combination and decided to post the monochrome images converted in Photoshop using a Gradient Map. For those who haven't tested this method before I can only recommend it. You can get some nice results. 1215
