It's been a number of weeks since I've posted. Life just gets in the way sometimes.
I though the fact that Tamron have brought out a firmware update for their 14-150 F/3.5-5.8 Di III [Model C001] was worth mentioning. I reported some time ago that the lens performed better on my Panasonic GX7 than on any other camera. If you look back at the FW update notes, version 1.1 was actually to improve IS on the GX7. Version 1.2 was to improve AF on Panasonic cameras and I think it did do that from my test results.
The new version 1.3 is to stabilize AF on Olympus cameras. This is the one I've been waiting on and I've already done the update. All I need to do now is do some more tests.
I thought this firmware update was worth posting just in case any of you missed it. I think I need to mention here that you have to have v1.1 installed to update to v1.3. If not, then an update to v1.1 is a must and then just update to v1.3.
If anyone has done the update and has had some time to test, I'd be interested in any feedback.
